I'm emoventur

I am an experimental visual artist. Currently I reside in San Jose, CA. I am deeply committed to expressing and exploring through my unique art style, which I call "emoventur," symbolizing the emotive explorer. Emoventur challenges definitions and plays with paradoxes, asking questions related to our emotions. My artistic practice is passionate and versatile, encompassing a broad array of mediums including photography, mixed media, mono printing, and painting with oils and acrylics, as well as working with fabrics and collage. Each piece I create is a sincere exploration of emotions, unconstrained by any singular style or method. My work is a continuous journey of emotional honesty and artistic discovery, reflecting my commitment to capturing deep feelings and presenting them through a diverse and evolving creative expression.

As an artist who has traversed various worlds, my journey has been rich and varied. Immigrating at a young age and living across three countries, I have absorbed the nuances of both Eastern and Western cultures while residing in four different U.S. states. My professional life has been equally diverse, spanning roles as a university professor, and an engineer. Yet, it is in the realm of art that I find my true solace and excitement. Art for me is a sanctuary, a place of hope and endless curiosity—a world without boundaries that constantly invites me to stretch my limits.
